Kerri heads for life in the sun after moving experience...

When Kerri Forrester-Willacy's dream of living in Cyprus was in danger of being wrecked after she struggled to sell her house, she didn't need to look far for advice.

Kerri's sister Suzanne Forrester-Adams was also in the process of selling up to move to a bigger property following the arrival of her new baby.

Unlike her sister, Suzanne was delighted with the service she was receiving from her estate agents, Link Up Properties in Lancaster, and recommended the firm to Kerri.

Within two weeks, BOTH sisters had sold their houses - for the full asking price.

It came as a huge relief for Kerri, 32, and her husband Roy as the pair were planning to move abroad on May 12 and needed to sell their house quickly.

They originally put their two-bedroom terrace home in Alexandra Road, Lancaster, on the market for £99,950 in January but had only 12 viewers in three months, forcing them to reduce the price by nearly £4,000.

But Link Up Properties owner Kristianne Edmondson pledged to get them the full asking price.

Kerri said: "We had hoped to go to Cyprus in February but that went out of the window.

"I spoke to Suzanne about the problems we were having and she recommended speaking to Kristianne, who owns Link Up Properties. She said that Kristianne knew what she was doing because she was making progress with her own house - and was confident we would also get results.

"A young man came round, looked at the house and decided to buy it, so everything is just fine and dandy. We've sold the house and we're off to Cyprus."

Suzanne, 34, and her husband Dominic put their two-bedroom terrace in Denmark Street, Lancaster, on the market for £112,000 and it was quickly snapped up.

Now they're moving into a bigger property in Ulster Road, along with four-month-old daughter Georgia.

Suzanne said: "I could see the service Kerri was getting wasn't nearly as good as I was having.
